Background

Garfield is focused on recruiting for the housing, regeneration and property sectors. He has over 20 years’ recruitment experience, and during these years he has recruited for large and small organisations across the public, private and third sector. He has experience of recruiting to the Board of many governance arrangements (such as local authority trading companies (LATCos), joint ventures, mutual societies, social enterprises, non-profit and charities) at both Chairs and NED/Trustee level.

Inclusive recruitment has always been at the heart of what Garfield delivers for his clients, and he has always been keen to ensure that processes he manages really ‘level the playing field’ and give every suitable candidate a genuine chance of success.

Garfield has a MSc in Occupational Psychology (Merit) from Birkbeck University and is a qualified psychometric assessor –Test User (Occupational, Ability and Personality). He is also an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching.
