Background
Eunice is an award-winning financial derivatives trader with multifaceted executive experience in both the financial services and voluntary non-profit sectors.
She is currently managing the Counterparty Risk Trading desk at a market-leading investment bank, where she is responsible for managing and hedging the counterparty risks and the resulting profit & loss of the bank’s global derivatives portfolio, as well as leading strategic projects to enhance the financial valuation infrastructure.
With 15 years of work experience, Eunice is well-recognised as the go-to expert in counterparty risks in terms of client credit risks, treasury funding, capital management, and portfolio optimisation. Eunice has further honed her abilities in risk management and strategic stakeholder and project management in her latest role.
As a ‘Client Dealing Certified Person’ by the Financial Conduct Authority and a ‘Manager of Certification Employee’, Eunice has an excellent understanding of how to operate in a highly regulated environment where governance is particularly scrutinised.
Eunice is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. She is a governance committee member of the SMBC Bank International Group Pension Plan, an Advisory Council Member of Harvard Business Review, an ambassador of the non-profit Women in Financial Markets organization, a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, and a Freeman of the City of London.
